Gourmet Braai Recipe - Steak With Red Wine & Balsamic Vinegar Marinade

Steak With Red Wine & Balsamic Vinegar Marinade

South Africans love MEAT! There’s nothing like the taste of a steak or a lamb chop on the braai. Even for those who claim to have the most refined palate, nothing beaks a delicious braai.

Because we love to braai, we love sharing our favourite braai recipes with you. We know that you will enjoy this recipe as much as we do. 

Ingredients:

2x Gorgeous South African Steaks
Salt To Taste
½ Teaspoon Of Pepper
½ Teaspoon Of Crushed Fresh Garlic
1 Rosemary Sprig
3x Tablespoons of Olive oil
¼ Cup Of Red Wine
¼ Cup Of Balsamic Vinegar
½ Onion To Wipe The Braai Grill 

Preparation:

Massage the olive oil into your steak. Season the steak with the pepper and salt to taste. Massage the garlic, into the steak. Place your steaks into a ziplock bag, pour the wine and balsamic vinegar into your ziplock bag.  Leave to marinate for 2 hours.

… It’s braai time! Prepare your grill by wiping the surface with ½ onion. 

Braai as desired (as long as it’s medium rare).
